If you are a first-year or senior Blugold student, you may be among those given an opportunity to influence the student experience at UW-Eau Claire — and perhaps win one of 40 Amazon gift cards.
On Feb. 17, qualifying first-year students and seniors at UW-Eau Claire will receive an email invitation from Chancellor Jim Schmidt to participate in an optional online survey that will identify areas in which they feel the university is doing well for students and areas where it can improve.
“Please, take the survey,” said Chancellor Schmidt. “We want to make UW-Eau Claire better for all students, and this is a great way to tell us about your experience and how well we are doing."
The survey, called the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), is conducted every three years at all UW System four-year campuses and around the country. Several hundred thousand students share information annually through NSSE about their participation in programs and activities at their U.S. universities.
NSSE provides reports of the survey results to participating universities, which use the information to plan ways to better serve students.
So watch for the survey and take a few minutes to make a difference for future Blugolds. All students who complete the survey will be entered in a drawing to win one of 40 Amazon gift cards.
