Challenge grant launches final push toward Confluence Arts Center groundbreaking


A $1.5 million challenge grant to the Confluence Arts Center project in downtown Eau Claire is encouraging a final wave of private gifts as supporters prepare to break ground in September.

The "Breaking New Ground" challenge grant from a group of anonymous donors was announced June 2 at the Eau Claire Regional Arts Council's annual Jubilee Event.

The Confluence Arts Center will serve the Eau Claire Regional Arts Council, UW-Eau Claire, local arts organizations and Visit Eau Claire.

The UW-Eau Claire Foundation and the Eau Claire Community Foundation are accepting gifts and pledges for the Confluence Arts Center.
