Katie Vagnino, who teaches writing and creative writing courses in the English Department and the Honors Program, had her poem "How to Explain Death to Your Daughter" selected by the St. Paul Almanac for their Impressions series, which brings poetry and art to public transit. Katie's poem, accompanied by a custom illustration by Sydney Wilcox, a local artist, is featured on Twin Cities Metro Transit buses, trains, and stops, from Sept 1-November 30.
