UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education announces July program offerings


Following are upcoming UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education programs that provide opportunities for individuals to grow professionally and personally:

Summer Institute, July 10-20, Eau Claire: Summer Institute has a 40-year tradition of teaching and delighting K-5 children across the Chippewa Valley. From art to animals, math to music, stories to science and more, children will enjoy hands-on activities, new friends and learning adventures.

MakerSpace Summer Camp, July 17-21, Eau Claire: Students in grades 6-9 will tinker, build and play in this dynamic experience, blending art, technology, engineering and science. Participants will explore creativity and innovation in a collaborative space, showcasing projects and ideas.

ACT Test Preparation, July 24-Aug. 1, Eau Claire: This program will help students in grades 10-12 who are looking to score higher on the ACT exam. Participants will take two official, retired ACT exams, write a practice essay, complete sample exercises and skill drills, and learn test-taking strategies and helpful hints.

UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension connects people with possibilities by providing degrees and certificates for contemporary learners, professional and workforce development, youth and community programs, and resources for business.
