Following are upcoming UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education programs that provide opportunities to grow professionally and personally:

Wound Treatment Associate Online Program
Jan. 15-April 14, online
The Wound Treatment Associate Program is a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses (WOCN) Society-endorsed educational program geared toward non-specialty licensed nurses. The WTA Program can help you with daily patient monitoring, pressure ulcer prevention and basic wound management to improve outcomes for your patients.

Beginning Sign Language 1
Mondays, Jan. 22-March 12, Eau Claire
Wish you knew how to communicate through sign language? This course will give you basic knowledge and understanding to communicate with the deaf community. Practice the fundamentals of conversation, including receptive skills and body language.

Distance Running
Tuesdays and Saturdays, Jan. 29-May 11, Eau Claire
Running a half or full marathon is just as much mental as is it is physical. This course will tackle both aspects through classroom discussion and weekend training runs. No matter where you start, you will have the tools and support you need to cross the finish line at the Eau Claire Marathon after our 14-week journey together.

Launching Your Food Truck Business
Jan. 29, Eau Claire
Take the first step toward your dream of starting a food truck business with this one-day workshop. Get the real story from someone who has "been there and done that," explore business startup basics, and learn all about licensing and regulation.
