Turner Berg ’98, a UW-Eau Claire journalism graduate, began work as a television news director at WEAU-TV in Eau Claire. He has since earned a master’s degree in higher education from Regis University in Denver, a doctoral degree in education from Argosy University in Denver and a leadership certificate from Harvard University.
After a successful career in broadcast, music and film, Berg now leads a nonprofit organization called Massive Amounts of Good, described as “a collection of like-minded creators, innovators, thinkers and philanthropists interested in utilizing their resources to help those in need.”
MAOG’s first large fundraising success came in 2013 when the organization raised more than $60,000 in food for a food bank in La Crosse.
“I often think back to my time in Eau Claire as critical to everything I have done since then, both personally and professionally,” Berg said. “It molded me into the person I am today.”
Berg currently lives in the Twin Cities area with his wife and children.
