Colin Clark ’01, a UW-Eau Claire journalism graduate, has always had a passion for baseball. As a freshman, Clark helped start the UW-Eau Claire Club Baseball team, which he also coached.
Fittingly, Clark works as the vice president of brand marketing at Ripken Baseball in Baltimore, Md., where he oversees the marketing and branding for all companies across the Ripken Baseball portfolio. He also oversees the sponsorship sales department, which sells across the entire portfolio of companies, the retail department, and the digital and social media departments. Clark also directs the national broadcasts of the Cal Ripken World Series and runs the Under Armour futures game, which pits the top 12-year-olds in a one-game showcase of the nation’s top baseball talent.
Prior to joining Ripken Baseball, Clark worked for the Chicago Cubs as a sponsorship sales account executive and for Under Armour as the brand manager of the baseball, hockey and men’s apparel categories.
