As part of the Nurses for Wisconsin project, six videos encouraging nurses to consider a nurse educator career path were developed. Videographers visited each of the six UW System baccalaureate nursing programs, UW-Eau Claire, UW-Green Bay, UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, UW Oshkosh and UW-Stevens Point, to interview faculty and students and create a campus-specific messages.
An introductory video which focuses primarily on the nurse educator shortage links to the six individual campus videos.
The impact nurse educators make on the lives of their students and their career choices is featured in an additional video.
Nurses for Wisconsin is a 3.2 million dollar initiative which was funded through a 2013-2015 UW System incentive grant.
