Proposed Master of Science in Athletic Training degree program:
On Feb. 22, 2019, the College of Education and Human Sciences Academic Curriculum Committee approved the proposal to establish a Master of Science in Athletic Training degree program. According to the college, the M.S. in Athletic Training is being established because all undergraduate athletic training education programs must transition to the graduate level in order to continue accreditation status as established by the Commission on the Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
