Welcome assistant dean candidates

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Business welcomes to campus the following candidates for the position of Assistant Dean and Director of the Center for Advising, Development and Enrichment:

  • Monday, February 23: Glendali Rodriguez, UW-Stout.
  • Friday, February 27: Billy Felz, New York University New York, NY.

UW-Eau Claire faculty, staff and students are invited to meet the candidates at an open forum from 2:00-2:50 pm in Schneider 312. Candidates will speak for approximately 25 minutes on the following questions: 

UW-Eau Claire is putting renewed emphasis on recruitment, retention, and a 4-year graduation rate. At the same time, we want students to engage in high-impact practices and be prepared for getting a job or going to graduate school. How do you foster an environment where these goals are met? How would you go about working with faculty and professional advisors to make sure students graduate in a timely manner while still taking advantage of high-impact practices and meaningful academic experiences? 

Presentations will be followed by a question and answer session moderated by Dr. Jean Pratt, associate professor of IS, and chair of the search and screen committee. Open sessions will be videotaped. For more information, check the Employment Opportunities website.
