Workshop to address LGBTQ equality at work

| Gretchen Hutterli

In light of inconsistent federal and state protections in employment, organizations struggle to find a balance between creating equitable work environments for their LGBTQ employees and risking potential boycotts from the public.  The result: Organizations have significant questions, little guidance and few examples of best practice.

Join University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire management faculty member Dr. Brent Opall on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at a free, interactive workshop to learn what employers are doing in the workplace to improve and promote equality. The workshop will be held from 7:30-9 a.m. in the Ojibwe Ballroom (330C) of Davies Center at UW-Eau Claire.

Coffee and refreshments will be served. Parking is available. Register here by Nov. 14. For more information, contact Dr. Scott Lester, UW-Eau Claire department of management and marketing.

This workshop is part of the Management Workshop Series hosted by the UW-Eau Claire College of Business and the Department of Management and Marketing. Special thanks to PESI, Inc. for sponsoring this workshop series.
