During the month of April, members of the UW-Eau Claire Pi Sigma Epsilon- Zeta Epsilon student chapter persistently competed in the Pro-Am Sell-a Thon competition, speaker's competition, and top chapter awards at the virtual 64th annual PSE national convention. PSE members proudly represented UW-Eau Claire in the competitions which are contested in a variety of forms such as written report, oral presentation, and/or group interview.
For the fifth year in a row, Eau Claire students received the Arno Kleimenhagen Award for Sustained Excellence. This award is presented to chapters who achieve gold status consecutively for three or more years.
Zeta Epsilon also placed in the Top 5 in the Gold Chapter, Top Chapter Recruitment, and Top Professional Development Chapter award categories.
Katie Folsom was awarded the UPS Scholarship Award for the second year in a row. Folsom is a senior marketing major-professional sales emphasis with a finance minor from Green Bay, WI.
Christina Zaine and Folsom placed in the Top 9 in the Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon competition. Zaine is a junior from Minnetonka, MN majoring in marketing-professional sales with a finance minor.
Lizzy Wolterman, a junior marketing-professional sales and business minor from Adams, MN, was a finalist in the speaker's competition.
PSE is the only national co-ed professional fraternity in the fields of sales, marketing, and management. However, it is open to all majors. PSE gives its members the chance to gain hands-on experience through experiential learning opportunities, participate in conferences both regionally and nationally, and network with professionals through PSE’s corporate partner program.
Jess Gardner, associate lecturer of management and marketing, is the PSE faculty advisor and coach of the UW-Eau Claire Sales Team.
