Beta Gamma Sigma receives honors

| Gretchen Hutterli

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) qualified for "Honors" and has made the Collegiate Chapter Honor Roll for the 2016-17 academic year.  The status of "Honors" is awarded to a campus where academic excellence is valued and where the chapter's faculty and student officers work diligently to enhance the honor society's stature on campus.

"It is exciting to see the UW-Eau Claire Beta Gamma Sigma chapter continue to grow," said Dr. Kristy Lauver, faculty advisor for the honor society. "Student co-presidents Nicole Ackerson and Nicolas Gustafson worked hard this past year in leading BGS. It is always a pleasure to see our students recognized for their leadership and academic efforts."

Beta Gamma Sigma is the premier honor society for students at AACSB Internationally accredited business schools. The UW-Eau Claire chapter will be recognized for its outstanding achievement during the 2017-18 academic year at the AACSB regional dean's conference and the annual AACSB International Conference and Annual Meeting.
