Get ready for Career Conference

| Carrie Ottum

Get your resume ready! Career Conference is Thursday, September 28 from 10:00 A.M – 3:00 P.M. in Davies Center. Over 140 employers will be in attendance. This is a great place to network with recruiters to learn about the internships and full-time employment opportunities available at their companies.

Who should attend. We encourage all COB students to drop by for an hour, or however long your schedule permits.

Volunteers needed. Student organizations: Earn money for your student org by volunteering to help welcome employers to Career Conference. Please contact Tiffany Weiss  to learn more. Deadline September 20.

Introducing Handshake. Career Services has transitioned to Handshake, a new recruiting platform that you will use to to find work-study jobs and part-time jobs, internships, full-time opportunities, and interview offerings. You can also use it to learn about career workshops and other events happening on campus. IMPORTANT: We strongly encourage you to sign up and get familiar with Handshake before Career Conference! Learn more about Handshake.

Attend a pre-conference workshop or webinar. Career Services is offering several workshops and webinars to help you prepare for Career Conference and beyond.  For a complete list of offerings, go to ‘Events’ in Handshake on the Career Services website. Each workshop is 50 minutes long.
