Blugold Beginnings golf fundraiser set for July 23

| Jean Piper

On Monday, July 23, UW-Eau Claire's Blugold Beginnings program will host a golf tournament to raise funds for programming in area schools and college scholarships.

The Blugold Beginnings program works to educate and inspire students, especially underrepresented, low-income or first-generation students, to believe that a postsecondary education is important, attainable, and available at UW-Eau Claire and other institutions.

Register a team by July 2 for the five-person golf scramble held at the Eau Claire Golf & Country Club. Participants will enjoy lunch, 18 holes of golf with cart, silent auction, raffle drawings, dinner, drinks and more. Teams of five are suggested, but individuals are welcome to register as well.

Register by May 14 to take advantage of the early bird rate. Download event brochure and registration form here.

This is a great opportunity for you to support a good cause, spend time with friends and have some fun on a pristine golf course. Call up a few friends and register a team today!

Any questions can be directed to the Blugold Beginnings office at 715-836-3015 or BBgolfouting@uwec.edu.

We look forward to seeing you on the course!
