Blugolds' Steen to compete at Olympic trials

UW-Eau Claire student Roger Steen, who as a Blugold won the 2015 NCAA Division III indoor and outdoor men's track and field national titles in the shot put, is taking the next step in his sport by competing in the U.S. Olympic trials.

Steen, a UW-Eau Claire senior majoring in business administration and kinesiology, will compete July 1 in Eugene, Oregon. The competition will be live streamed from 7-9 p.m. July 1.
