Matt Krische '06 and Ryan Moertel '12 are Blugolds featured in this month's "Engaged with UW-Eau Claire" alumni video series. Krische and Moertel are young alumni who attended UW-Eau Claire at different times, but both returned to the Chippewa Valley after time away at law school. The two partnered up to establish Krische & Moertel LLC, a criminal defense practice in downtown Eau Claire. Krische also has taken on the role as head coach of the men's rugby football club at UW-Eau Claire after playing himself for 10 years in St. Paul. Moertel gives back by advising the UW-Eau Claire mock trial team, interacting with students whose shoes he was once in.
