Facilities Update | Nov 29 Winter Weather Advisory

| Kyran Hamill

The forecast is calling for snow all day Tuesday, November 29, with around 3-5 inches on the Eau Claire campus by the time it stops around 11 p.m.

The Facilities Grounds Crew pretreated roads, commuter lots, and bridges with salt brine this morning. They will work during the day trying to keep campus as safe as possible while it's snowing, focusing on roads, and high priority sidewalks and steps. The Grounds Crew will be staying late today until 4:30 p.m. to keep things opened up.

The majority of the work will occur when the snow stops later today. Grounds Crew staff will be in at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning to finish snow clean up.
