What advice would you give to someone just starting their career?

Be the hardest working person in the room and get comfortable with being uncomfortable, pushing through challenges and learning from them is what makes you grow.

What book would you recommend?

The Radical Leap: A Personal Lesson in Extreme Leadership by Steve Farber. As a UWEC student I attended a national leadership academy in Dallas, TX and was introduced to this book. It has molded and affected who I am today as a leader at UWPD.

What's your favorite board game?

Trivial Pursuit! It has been 35 years and I am still trying to win against my mom!
