UW-Eau Claire faculty, staff and students are invited to volunteer during Chalkfest, a community event to be held Saturday, July 30, on the university campus mall and hosted in partnership with Volume One.
Last year was the first year UW-Eau Claire and Volume One partnered in hosting Chalkfest, and organizers quickly realized a huge need for volunteers. This year, once again, organizers are in search of people interested in helping before and during the event. Some volunteer duties include preparing registration packets the week before the event, assisting with registration on event day, greeting and escorting artists to their chalking spaces, hosting in the Artists Lounge in Centennial Hall, and passing out event brochures as people arrive. View a complete list of volunteer duties and time slots.
Each volunteer will receive a free Chalkfest T-shirt and a free ice cream treat. Sign up using the form on the Volume One website.
