Dr. Thao Yang, UW-Eau Claire professor of chemistry, is featured in the Blugold Spotlight video above. Dr. Yang is also the director of the National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates program at UW-Eau Claire, which is a 10-week summer research program that allows college students enrolled at a UW college to work in close collaboration with UW-Eau Claire faculty. Making dreams come true
The National Student Exchange allows students to pay UW-Eau Claire tuition while attending college at another participating campus somewhere in the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
UW-Eau Claire team places high in CypherCon 5.3 RC3 competition
A team of UW-Eau Claire computer science students attended CypherCon 5.3 RC3 conference April 28-30 at Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee. The team placed fourth out of 23 teams in a "Capture the Con" competition.
Making a difference through research
When Carley Owens graduates this month, she'll have a degree in neuroscience and a resume filled with research experiences. Her future plans now include earning a Ph.D. in neuroscience and contributing to the medical field as a scientist.
