Dr. Thao Yang, UW-Eau Claire professor of chemistry, is featured in the Blugold Spotlight video above. Dr. Yang is also the director of the National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates program at UW-Eau Claire, which is a 10-week summer research program that allows college students enrolled at a UW college to work in close collaboration with UW-Eau Claire faculty. State Street closure
A city of Eau Claire road construction project along State Street will close a major route to the UW-Eau Claire lower campus starting Wednesday, June 19. The route is expected to remain closed through early October.
Blugolds enjoy historic athletics season
For the 2018-19 season, UW-Eau Claire is ranked 10th in the nation in the NACDA Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup standings for NCAA Division III. The rankings include the more than 400 NCAA Division III athletics programs in the country.
