Biographical/Historical Note

The Department of Education prepares undergraduate and graduate students for teaching in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms through programs and courses. Program curriculum and academic policies were determined, discussed, and voted on by various committees within the department.

Content Description

This collection contains the meeting minutes, agendas, proposals and other documents of committees, subcommittees, and academic departments within the School of Education. These include the Curriculum Committee, the Academic Policies Committee, and the Department of Secondary and Continuing Education. The collection also contains meeting minutes from other university units including the Academic Council and the President’s and Chancellor’s Cabinet.
