Biographical / Historical Note

The first student government at the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire and its predecessor institutions was organized in 1924.  The Student Senate appears to have taken its current organizational form between 1964 and 1966.  

Content Description

The scrapbooks consist largely of clippings from The Spectator, the University of Wisconsin -- Eau Claire student newspaper, relating to issues of student governance.  The scrapbooks are partially indexed by subject.
