The collection includes images of university buildings, various campus scenes, athletics, student organizations, student activities, programs and special events, ceremonies, and people (identified and unidentified students, staff, faculty, administrators, dignitaries, and campus visitors). The collection is arranged into nine series: buildings, athletics, student organizations, campus and student activities, campus life, people, campus landmarks, academics, and history.
Biographical / Historical Note
Many of these images were transferred to the University Archives by campus departments and individuals associated with the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. The collection documents the history of the university through images.
Content Description
Primarily consists of photographic prints of various sizes, but the collection does include negatives and slides. The majority of the images are unidentified, but some of the images have identifiable information marked on the reverse or on an accompanying sheet of paper. Boxes 31–40 contain original prints from the 1993, 1994, and 1995 Periscope yearbooks.
