Project Coordinator

A full-time university staff position is available in Facilities  beginning May, 2022. The working title for this assignment is Project Coordinator with an official title of Facilities coordinator.  This is an expected-to-continue assignment which requires a six-month probationary period [or project assignment expected to last at least one year}.  The expected hourly hiring salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A thorough knowledge of Estimating, Budgeting, or Ordering of Materials; adherence to rules and regulations of  UWEC; ability to interpret project plans; experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Demonstrated organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.

DUTIES:

  • Development and refining of project estimating processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage “in-house”, DFDM and contracted maintenance and repairs
  • Assist Campus Planner and Construction Project Manager with duties as assigned.
