University Centers Business Services Manager

A professional academic staff position is available in University Centers beginning December.  The official title for this assignment is Athletics Ticket Operations Manager, with a working title of University Centers Business Services Manager. This is a renewable assignment, contingent on performance and funding.  The salary range is $40,000 to $44,000 and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required.  Also required are excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

DUTIES:
•    May exercise supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
•    Confers with event sponsors concerning ticket needs, prepares, and supervises the mailing of ticket information, solves problems, maintains control of money and tickets, and prepares audit statements
•    May monitor the budget and approve expenditures
