Before you attend
What time does The Viennese Ball start and end?
Doors and Check in to the Viennese Ball start at 6:30 p.m. and the event ends at 1 a.m. both Friday and Saturday.
Complementary Coat Check is available.
Where is The Viennese Ball held?
The W.R Davies Student Center on the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Campus.

Where can I park?
Parking is free and readily available in non-metered lots. Patrons are encouraged to park in the Phillips, Hibbard, Water Street, Human Sciences and Services or Haas Fine Arts Lots and there is a shuttle from each of these lots to the entry of the Viennese Ball.
Note: The Nursing Lot is reserved for Viennese Ball performers and Distinguished guests, and will not be open to general parking.
Do you have a parking shuttle?
Yes! Cody Limousines will provide continuous shuttle service from the Hibbard, Water Street, Human Sciences and Services and Haas Fine Arts Lots. Shuttles will begin at 6:00 p.m. and run until 1:30 a.m.
Should I bring my ID?
Patrons who wish to purchase alcohol must present a government-issued photo ID upon entrance to the Ball and will receive a wristband.
Do I need to bring my student ID?
Yes! UW System and Chippewa Valley Technical College students holding student-price tickets must present a valid University of Wisconsin System or Chippewa Valley Technical College student ID card upon entering the event.
High school students holding student-price tickets must be age 17 or older and present a valid state issued ID upon entering the event.
Is the Davies Center accessible?
UW-Eau Claire is committed to providing all guests with accessible facilities. The Davies Center is ADA accessible, including common spaces, meeting rooms and ballrooms. Passenger elevators are located on the east and west ends of the Davies Center, and wheelchairs are available upon request (quantity may be limited).
All-gender restrooms are available on each floor.
A dedicated lactation room is available as a separate suite in the third floor women’s restroom (room 326B) near the Ojibwe Grand Ballroom.
Tickets
How much are tickets?
$30* | Students (UWEC, CVTC, other university or high school with ID)
$60* | General public
* There is a $3 service fee on all ticket purchases

Can I leave The Viennese Ball and come back?
Yes. Patrons will receive a hand-stamp upon entry should they wish to leave the building.
Can I resell my ticket or buy from someone else?
Since tickets may not be refunded or exchanged by the Service Center, please use our Viennese Ball Facebook page for personal ticket sales. The Community tab is the place to search and sell tickets.
If you were not able to purchase tickets for Saturday, we still have volunteer opportunities. A 4 hour shift will get you into the ball for FREE.
Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?
There are no refunds on tickets. All sales are final.

Is there food & drink available at the Viennese Ball?
Yes!
Enjoy authentic Austrian specialties and don’t miss our world famous tortes for dessert.

Will I need my ID to purchase alcohol?

Yes! Contributions to the Ada Bors Memorial Viennese Ball Endowment Fund have provided more than $1.5 million in music, service and international study awards for deserving UW-Eau Claire students. Your financial support ensures future students will have the resources they need to excel at UW-Eau Claire.
