Founded in 1974 and presented annually by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, the Viennese Ball is a formal event that recalls the cultural and musical heritage of 19th-century Vienna.
Ada Bors Memorial Viennese Ball Endowment Fund
Proceeds from the Viennese Ball and contributions to the Ada Bors Memorial Viennese Ball Endowment Fund have provided more than $1.5 million in music, service and international study awards for deserving University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students.

Music + Theatre Arts Awards
Viennese Ball Senior Music Award
Awarded for talent, academic achievement, and contributions to the Music and Theatre Arts Department. The Viennese Ball also annually supports additional music scholarships awarded by departmental faculty to incoming and continuing students based on competitive audition and academic achievement.

Ada Bors Music Service Award
Awarded to a senior student for outstanding service to the Music and Theatre Arts Department. This award is named in recognition of Ada Bors for her 25 years as founder and coordinator of the Viennese Ball.
Noble Statesmen Award
Recipients of this award must bring musical leadership to the ensemble and display character both in the ensemble and on campus. Recipients must be a returning member to The Singing Statesmen in the year following the receipt of the Noble Statesmen Award.
International Education Awards + Scholarships
Wilhelm + Ingrid Brauner Award
Awarded for international study at the University of Graz for outstanding academic achievement and service to the the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. This award is named in recognition of the Austrian government, whose efforts were significant in the development of the Viennese Ball.

Heinz K. Seitinger Scholarship
Awarded to exchange students from Karl-Franzens-Universität-Graz, for study at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. This award is named in recognition of service by former Austrian Trade Commissioner Heinz K. Seitinger on behalf of our international programs, particularly those between UW-Eau Claire and his alma mater, the University of Graz. Annual award, number and amount varies, criteria established by Center for International Education.

Karen G. Stuber Service Award
Presented to student employees in recognition of outstanding achievements and service to W.R. Davies Student Center and, specifically, to the Viennese Ball. This award is named in recognition of Karen Stuber for her 43 years of service to the Viennese Ball.
