Do you love playing music and want to learn more about your instrument? Come and join adult woodwind players (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and saxophone) for this rewarding, supportive and fun chamber music experience!
Participants of all levels will rehearse and play in small chamber groups with like-minded players, and will be coached by experienced and dedicated UW-Eau Claire faculty. Daily activities will include masterclasses, reading sessions, lessons, special-topic workshops and faculty recitals. Group excursions will provide the opportunity to explore the history and scenery of beautiful Eau Claire, WI. The workshop will conclude with informal performances from the participant chamber ensembles. Affordable on-campus housing is offered in our new residence halls.
Adult flutists, oboists, bassoonists, clarinetists and saxophonists of all abilities are encouraged to participate!
Participants arrive on campus during the evening of Thursday with the first activity starting at 7pm. Friday-Sunday sessions will begin at 9am each day, with the final participant concert starting at 2pm on Sunday.
The workshop will take place on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus. Click here for a map of UW-Eau Claire campus. The Haas Fine Arts Center is located directly on the Chippewa River State Trail, connecting user to over 70 miles of trails for biking, running/walking.

There are two options for air travel: fly into the Minneapolis/St. International Airport and take the Chippewa Valley Airport Shuttle to Eau Claire and taxi service is available to campus (we may be able to arrange to pick you up from the Eau Claire shuttle drop-off to campus, so let me know your flight schedule!) Or, though more expensive, you can fly directly into the Eau Claire Regional Airport (2 flights daily, all from Chicago O'Hare) and we can pick you up from the Eau Claire airport and drive you to campus housing.
