Blugold Beginnings Camps

Grades 6-12

Blugold Beginnings offers five engaging summer camps each summer to provide students the opportunity to spend a week learning about a topic of interest to them on the UW-Eau Claire Campus. These hands-on, project based learning camps help participants to explore careers and build valuable academic skills.

Registration for camps begins on March 1 and continues until all spots are filled.  Each camp has a capacity of 100 students. The camps are very popular so students interested in participating should apply early.  Scholarships are available for all campers. Transportation is provided from Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay and Wausau.

The Blugold Beginnings program works to educate and inspire students, especially underrepresented, low income or first generation students, to believe that a post-secondary education is important, attainable, and available at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and other institutions.

Blugold Beginnings offers a variety of programs and services to promote a college-going culture and to help students obtain a higher education.
