Theatre arts - musical theatre scholarships
UW-Eau Claire offers many different scholarships to students for their success. It's one of our top priorities to create a compassionate environment that embraces differences and provides opportunities for everyone to thrive. An example of that is the University Theatre Scholarship. This scholarship offers $450 to an incoming freshman or continuing student who shows promise in theatre arts. It is our goal to help students feel empowered with the right tools they need to reach their full potential.

Our theatre program will provide you with a variety of production experiences through four main stage plays, opera theatre ensembles, a one-act play festival, Danceworks performances, and touring theatre productions. UW-Eau Claire also has access to the brand new Pablo center located downtown which includes the largest black box theater in the Midwest and a broadway-style theatre that can hold more than 1,200 seated patrons. At UW-Eau Claire, it is our top priority to provide you with high-impact learning experiences so you will succeed in the career path that you choose.
A supportive community with collaborative experiences. UW-Eau Claire's musical theatre program offers collaborative learning opportunities through theatre and dance student organizations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with others who share the same passion and participate in productions and workshops outside the classroom. Some of our theatre student organizations include Concert Dance Company, NOTA, The Players, Two to Tango Dance Club, and United States Institute for Technical Theatre (USITT). Through opportunities like these, you will build meaningful relationships that will allow you to feel connected and engaged in your educational journey.
