Kinesiology Major, Sports Pedagogy Emphasis
60 credits, no minor required
Students graduating with a kinesiology degree with a sport pedagogy emphasis often pursue careers working with children, adolescents, and/or adults in recreation programs within local park districts, university recreation programs, the YMCA, or pursue graduate school to further their education. This emphasis WILL NOT lead to licensure in physical education upon graduation. If you wish to pursue your teaching licensure, you should meet with an advisor to discuss the options.
