We love serving the Chippewa Valley community

The Center for Communication Disorders offers speech, language, and hearing services to the entire Chippewa Valley community. The center includes 16 therapy rooms with direct observation facilities, mobile audiology and speech/voice science equipment, an assistive technology laboratory, a materials resource room, and a reception area with two client waiting rooms. Our students gain valuable clinical training under the supervision of faculty who are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Take a look at what the clinic has to offer you!

Request Services

With the unexpected and devastating announcement of the HSHS and Prevea closures, our thoughts are with all of those impacted. The UWEC CCD is currently experiencing increased volumes, so please know that it might take longer than is typical for us to return your calls and emails. We are working to the best of our abilities to support our community's needs as best we can.

To request services from our clinic, please select the form from the section below that best describes your needs and email it to Clinic Director Lindsay Pohlen at pohlenla@uwec.edu or turn it in to a staff member at the Center for Communication Disorders office.
