Research Experiences for Undergraduates

Nationally funded summer research opportunities

The National Science Foundation has funded summer research opportunities for undergraduate students from two-year campuses. Students will complete a 10-week, fully funded, summer research program, working in close collaboration with one or more faculty at UW-Eau Claire. The program will provide a $5,000 stipend to students, cover living costs while staying in the dorms at UW-Eau Claire, and can provide some assistance with travel expenses to conferences.

STEM students who belong to underrepresented minority groups from all degree programs are encouraged to apply to work with Science faculty at UW-Eau Claire in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, or Materials Science.
