The Women's Resource Center component of the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center reflects the vibrancy of UW-Eau Claire's institutional commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusiveness. Whether academic or entertaining (or both!) the events and programming that flow from this dynamic office offer students, faculty, and staff numerous opportunities to help shape the campus environment in a way that honors women's past, present, and future.
Whether creating a t-shirt for the annual Clothesline Project, participating in photo shoots for the Love Your Body campaign, or attending one of the many article discussion lecture series, the UW-Eau Claire community wholeheartedly embraces the challenges of combating gender inequity in its various manifestations. With an emphasis on collaboration, the Women's Resource Center actively reaches out across institutional barriers, in an effort to make women's issues everyone's issue.
The Women's Resource Center (located in Hibbard 311C) is staffed by Gender & Sexuality Resource Center interns and serves as a safe space for women. It is used as an informal lounge, a study space, and as a location for meetings. Stop by and say hi!
