Japan Foundation New York - Small Grants for Arts and Culture: Support projects that will further understanding of Japanese arts and culture. Awards are up to $5,000. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis.
U.S. Dept. of Education – Office of Postsecondary Education: Supports a variety of programs to improve postsecondary education, including:
- Fulbright Hays: Group Projects Abroad in Foreign Languages: Supports overseas projects in training, research, and curriculum development in modern foreign languages and area studies for groups of teachers, students, and faculty engaged in a common endeavor. Awards range from $50,000 to $125,000 for up to 18 months.
- International and Foreign Language Education: provides funds to plan, develop, and carry out programs to strengthen and improve undergraduate instruction in international studies and foreign languages. Awards range from $50,000 to $100,000.
