Apple ID: The Apple ID is the account you use to access apps and media in the App Store or iTunes.
iOS App Store: The App Store is Apple’s primary location to obtain apps for your iPad.
iPad App Purchasing eForm: This eForm can be used to purchase iPad apps with departmental funds, rather than personal funds.
Evernote: Evernote is a free app for taking notes. It can capture text, audio, and images. Your notes can be viewed, edited, or created on Windows, Mac, iPad, Android, etc. FREE
Documents To Go Premium: Documents To Go Premium is a productivity app that can be used to view, edit, and create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. It can also view PDF files. Cost: $16.99
Quickoffice HD Pro: Quickoffice HD Pro is a productivity app that can be used to view, edit, and create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. It can also view PDF files. Cost: $19.99
Genius Scan: Genius Scan is a free app that allows you to use your iPad’s camera as a document scanner. You can share your scanned documents by email and other methods. Matt had the free version; there is also a $2.99 version with more functionality.
iAnnotate PDF: iAnnotate PDF allows you to read, annotate, and share PDF files. Cost: $9.99
GoodReader: GoodReader allows you to read, annotate, and share PDF files. Cost: $4.99
VMware View: VMware View is the app used to connect to UW-Eau Claire’s Lab Anywhere virtual lab. More information on connecting to Lab Anywhere is available from the LTS Online Help. FREE
iBooks: iBooks is Apple’s eBook app used to read eBooks available from Apple’s iBooks Store. FREE
Kindle: Kindle is Amazon’s eBook app used to read eBooks available from Amazon’s Kindle store. FREE
Nook: Nook is Barnes & Noble’s app used to read eBooks available from Barnes and Noble’s Nook store. FREE

Discovr Apps: An alternative to finding apps via the App Store. Search for an app and Discovr apps will create a spider map of related apps. Cost: $1.99
Panasonic Wireless Projector: The Panasonic Wireless Projector (Wireless PJ) app is used to display images and PDF slideshows on WiFi-enabled projectors. FREE.
Screenchomp: Record handwriting and audio; can be used for quick math help. FREE
Slideshark: Show PowerPoints on the iPad. FREE
GarageBand: Play your iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch like a musical instrument. Cost: $4.99
