Graduate Studies

The Office of Graduate Studies is within the division of Academic Affairs. Graduate Studies provides oversight for graduate education at the university.  We oversee graduate assistantships, the graduate foundation fellowships, and the Advanced Opportunity Program grants. We also maintain records, policies and other procedures relating to graduate students.  Applications for admission are submitted to the Office of Admissions, and then forwarded to the Graduate Program Director where a recommendation is made and forwarded to the College and Graduate Dean.

Applications are being accepted for Graduate Assistantships, Graduate Foundation Fellowships, and the Advanced Opportunity Program (AOP) grants for the 2018-2019 academic year, as well as for the AOP for the 2018 Summer Session.  Please submit your online Graduate Assistantship/Fellowship/AOP application as soon as possible. The priority deadline is March 1, 2018, but we will continue to collect applications until all assistantship positions have been filled.  Please be aware that if you are applying for a fellowship or scholarship through your graduate program, they may require a separate application process. If questions, please contact the Office of Graduate Studies at 715-836-2721 or
