Support Us!

Contributions of all shapes and sizes are always welcome. Visit the UWEC Foundation to find out how!

The community's involvement is vital for the success of Wisconsin's youth. Please help us guide hundreds of students to dream big and reach for higher education with the support of our Blugold Beginnings Program.

The Blugold Beginnings Program is a great way to unite and strengthen the relationships between UW-Eau Claire, the city of Eau Claire, and the surrounding communities. All parties involved can learn and benefit from each other.

Who Benefits from this Program?

K-12 Students

Elementary through high school students benefit by having Mentors support them academically and personally while promoting higher education.

UW-Eau Claire Students

UW-Eau Claire student Mentors benefit through gaining practical experience working with community youth and completing their University Service Learning graduation requirement. Middle and High School Mentors are paid positions.

The Community

The community benefits through having its youth educated to believe that higher education is important and possible for them. This belief and pursuit of higher education opens doors for the children of our community, inspiring them to dream big through education
