In February of 2002, Blugold Performance of the Air emerged as a one hour program featuring UW-Eau Claire students and faculty performing music, readings, forensics, and other types of performances. Today the show also provides background information for the group or performer featured each week. Blugold performance of the Air is broadcast at 5:00 p.m. every Sunday during the school year and is hosted by Breann Schossow. Because WUEC-FM is affiliated with WPR, some of the performances are recorded at the WPR studios, but most of the work for the show is done on campus at the WUEC-FM studio in the Communication and Journalism Center in Hibbard. |
