Meeting Minutes: 4/5/12
Hello Everyone!
Just a recap of last night's meeting:
1) In two weeks, April 19th at 5:00 PM, we have Amy Stelling coming to speak to WITS. She was a December 2000 graduate from UWEC with majors in MIS and Accounting. Now she is Vice President of HighJump Software in Eden Prairie, MN! It should be really interesting to hear about her corporate climb, and we will be providing pizza, so please keep your schedules open!
2) It's election time! We will be holding elections at our last meeting for all of the executive board positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Web Mistress. I have attached the officer definitions in case you want to read up on the responsibilities. Please email either Dr. Stevenson or me with your nominations. We will hold the elections at our last meeting, May 3rd.
3) Our End of the Year CS/IS Picnic is coming up! Becky and I are beginning plans on the event. During the meeting we discussed what happens at the picnic (for the newcomers :), who is going to get dunked (Becky :), and what WITS members have to do to help out with the event (presentations in classrooms, man the coin jar table, and help set up the day of the picnic). The picnic will be Friday, May 11th.
