Steven Cambrice, MA, LMFT, is a former University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Football player. Born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana Steven saw firsthand the difficulties facing youth in many of our cities. Upon high school graduation with honors, he moved to the Twin Cities to become a scholar athlete and letter winner at the University of Minnesota. He completed his Bachelors of Arts with an emphasis in Criminal Justice in Sociology, and his graduate education was completed at the University of Wisconsin, Stout where he received a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. His career has led him to serve youth and families in many different settings all over the Twin Cities and beyond. At the beginning, he worked as a volunteer Gym Aide in Minneapolis, MN at the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center. From there he began mentoring youth and working as a Director of youth and family activities at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN. From 2000 to 2004 he served as Education Director of the Twin Cities Chapter of Christian Life Ministries. His concern for youth all over the country led him to serve as Assistant Principal at The Hope School an inner City School in one of Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s most challenging school districts. Steven Cambrice is recognized as a national public speaker who conducts trainings for professionals and offers encouragement for parents and youth. Steven Cambrice brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that offer solutions to the difficulties facing youth and families. Today as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, he is looking forward to continuing to serve.
