The goal of our project is to find a way to differentiate between 
different genres of music by analyzing their rhythmic structure.  
We ultimately would like to have a computer take a sample of music
and classify what genre it belongs to by analyzing its rhythm. 
We report on an initial empirical study of an entropy calculation
for measuring differences in the complexity of different rhythm patterns.
