Vibrato

Used by opera singers, in electronic music, rock music (e.g., some of Jimi Hendrix's guitar notes in Born Under a Bad Sign use
vibrato), and classical music (e.g., some flute notes in the ending passage of Stravinsky's Firebird Suite use vibrato). Vibrato is a fairly low amplitude oscillation of pitch about a base pitch.
Here are three examples of vibrato in musical passages:

1.  From Born Under a Bad Sign (played by Jimi Hendrix):  Vibrato of an extended guitar note is shown within the yellow rectangle.
