Welcome

The mission of the Women's and LGBTQ Resource Center is to speak out for the welfare of women as well as the LGBTQ community, who have historically been and continue to be marginalized because of sexual and/or gender identity.  Our endeavor to promote the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's institutional commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusiveness is reflected in all Women's and LGBTQ Resource Center programs and services.

The Women's and LGBTQ Resource Center's staff provides resources, information, and programming in collaboration with existing departments, advisory committees, organizations, and offices that address issues and challenges facing women and the LGBTQ campus community. The Women's and LGBTQ Resource Center seeks to foster a supportive campus environment through the development and sponsorship of intellectual, personal, and cultural programming.

The Women's and LGBTQ Resource Center, located in Schofield 34, houses meeting and seminar space, computer access, a lactation space for nursing mothers, referral and programming information, and is adjacent to the Women's Issues and LGBTQ Coordinators' office (Schofield 38).

Excellence. Our Measure. Our Motto. Our Goal.
