Items discussed with the Senate Chair
- Alli Malat will be leaving her current position of BITS Coordinator because she has accepted a job and will be moving to St. Paul next week. She sees BITS as a worthwhile and useful opportunity for students to learn the necessary computer applications to be a successful student at UWEC. She would like to raise awareness of the possibility that the BITS Coordinator position may not be refilled. Now is the time for advocates of the BITS program to express their support to those who will be making future resource allocation decisions. If you are concerned that in the future you may not be able to send your students to BITS workshops or request in-class computer training for students, please contact the Acting Director of McIntyre Library: Cleo Powers powerscj@uwec.edu 836-3715
