    • Recommendation (summary) that departments review all courses with prerequisites to ensure that all prerequisites are necessary and on-line checking of prerequisites be implemented in time for registration for the spring 2000 semester.
    • Recommendation that the proposed Four-Year Graduation Agreement Protocol be approved.
    • Recommendation to forward a request for Preliminary Entitlement to Plan a Proposal for a New Academic Program: Mass Communication Major, with (existing) emphases in Advertising, Electronic Media, and Public Relations.

    • Recommendation that the bylaws concerning a Quorum for University Faculty and a Quorum for University Academic Staff meetings be changed as follows:

      At the regular meetings of the University Faculty/Academic Staff, a quorum shall consist of 34 percent of those in attendance who are eligible to vote. At special meetings of the University Faculty/Academic Staff, a quorum shall consist of a majority of the members eligible to vote.
