Review of the tentative agenda for the November 9, 1999 meeting of the University Senate

Discussion of handbook language for co-expiration of Senate Committee Membership (page 3.24 of printed Handbook) "Where a University Senate member's term of office as a senator expires before the expiration of that member's membership term on a University Senate committee as a representative of the senate, the committee membership will expire with the expiration of the senate term. The replacement on the committee shall be elected for a full term."

The committee contemplates going into closed session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85 (1)(f) to consider appointments to the University Planning Committee and University Senate Ad Hoc Technology Committee.
