Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC) serves the outreach and communications needs of the UW-Eau Claire campus community. IMC consists of Marketing, University Communications (formerly News Bureau) and Creative Services (formerly Publications), teams that collaborate to provide resources and expertise to campus units and departments, helping them to determine marketing and communications goals, employ best practices in reaching target audiences across all channels, and measure the results.
Who we are
We are passionate champions for the students, faculty, staff and alumni of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
We support the mission and reputation of the university by sharing compelling UW-Eau Claire stories with the world and by inspiring those who deliver on our brand promises every day.
Why we matter
Marketing and communications in higher education have evolved dramatically in the past two decades. In today’s competitive environment, there are fewer state dollars to support the work of the university; we rely on student tuition and philanthropic support. IMC helps UW-Eau Claire attract, retain and engage students, donors and friends.
What we do
- We deliver effective marketing and communications strategies that support institutional goals related to reputation, recruitment and retention, and resources.
- We position UW-Eau Claire as the premier regional comprehensive university in the Midwest.
- We manage the university brand communications.
