Editorial Style Guidelines

Consistent editorial standards give printed material a consistent look and project an image of cohesiveness both on and off campus. Below are links to the News Bureau's Editorial Style Guidelines for university-related use. News Bureau staff will review entries annually and make necessary changes.

If you are looking for a rule on anything not listed in these guidelines, consult the most recent edition of The Associated Press Stylebook or, when appropriate, The Associated Press Broadcast News Handbook, available in the University Bookstore.
